Hard work pays off

We live in an era of get-rich-quick schemes and scams. We want everything faster, quicker, without all that pesky hard work involved. We listen to stories about “overnight successes.”

But these are all fallacies.

None of it is true.

Just as a bird would have no home without taking the time it takes to actually build it’s nest, we have no resources if we are not willing to work on building them up, be they intellectual, social, or material. Even the sparrows, bluebirds, and purple martins who are lucky enough to find suitable pre-made houses that humans were kind enough to put out for them, still have to add layers of softness in the form of hunted straw, animal fur, and other such nesting materials. Of course, if you want to be like the cuckoo bird and leave your eggs in another bird’s nest for the poor adoptive mother to raise, you can take the easy way out. 🐣 But, on the other hand, if you want a hand in the game, and to enjoy the successes of the fruits of your labor, you must do the hard work yourself. Things are earned, friend.

Respect is earned.

Rest is earned.

Money is earned.💲

Rewards are earned.

Nothing just magically appears without being worked for. Hard work pays off and announces the truth. It tells what you’ve done with your most precious resource- your time. It tells what you’ve been up to, and what you’re willing to sacrifice to get from where you are now to where you want to be. How hard are you willing to work to achieve your dreams?
